Cast Skeleton:
Clidastes
liodontus

Clidastes propython

Clidastes was the smallest of the mosasaurs, averaging 2-4 meters (7-12 feet) in length, with the largest specimens reaching 6.2 meters (20 feet) long. As with all mosasaurs, virtually half its length was tail. Clidastes was a surface or shallow water hunter unlike Platecarpus and Tylosaurus which followed their prey into the depths of the sea. Possessing a delicate and slim form with an expansion of the neural spines and chevrons near the tip of the tail, Clidastes was an agile and fast swimmer.

This slender and graceful 11 feet 4 inch (3.5 meter) specimen is fully detailed, making it an outstanding specimen for both display and study. Modest size and the option of suspension-mounting will maximize viewer impact for your exhibit area.
