(Late Cretaceous, Mongolia, China)
Bactrosaurus johnsoni was an unusually small, herbivorous dinosaur. They may have lived in small groups for protection, and near dense vegetation to avoid being detected by hunting carnivores. This important hadrosaur maintains many primitive skeletal features. It is classified near the lambeosaurinae group despite its lack of a cranial crest.
This skeleton is accurately reconstructed, cast in solid urethane, and finished to look like the original fossil. This example is mounted in a walking position however, it can be ordered in various poses to reproduce a small herd.
In addition to this Bactrosaurus, we have one other Chinese specimen, a
Dsungaripterus.
