Hylaeosaurus was one of the three original animals for which Owen invented the term Dinosauria.
Hylaeosaurus, or "forest lizard," was an amored, plant-eating ankylosaur. It had horn covered oval plates embedded in its skin all over the top of its body for protection and grew to around 13 feet in length.
