The skeleton of a 6 1/2 foot long juvenile of a fleet-footed bipedal herbivorous ornithopod. Hypsilophodon is known only from one short stretch of eroding cliffs on the seashore of the Isle of Wight, England. It has been suggested that all the individuals found may represent a single herd of juvenile animals. No adult has ever been found.
