This skull of a juvenile individual is the most complete and finely preserved on known for this species. It was discovered on the Isle of Wight in 1984. Iguanodon, a member of the Ornithopoda, is the most common herbivorous dinosaur from Europe. Thousands of bones and more than 20 complete skeletons are known but complete skulls are very rare.
