The skull of a large hyaeonodont creodont that lived some 24 million years ago and was the largest terrestrial carnivorous mammal that ever existed. The skull is about twice the size of a tiger skull. Fossils have been found in Egypt and Libya. In life, it was about 16-18 feet long and weighed an estimated 3,300 pounds.
