Cast Tracks
Tracks of iguanodontid dinosaurs from Dinosaur Ridge are mid-Cretaceous in age and come from the Dakota Group. Tracks of this type are found in layers all over eastern Colorado and eastern New Mexico. They form part of a “dinosaur freeway” or possible migration route that ran for hundreds of miles along the ancient Cretaceous gulf coast. This specimen is from a Caririchnium.
