Research Set
Many years of collecting and study went into the creation of this most spectacular giant carnivorous fish skeleton. Cast from a complete, disarticulated specimen, the world’s only free standing, three-dimensional copies of Xiphactinus are available only from TPI in 12.5 feet long x 4 feet wide (3.8 meters x 1.2 meters) and 17 feet long x 5 feet wide (5.1 meters x 1.5 meters) specimens. These feature the most accurate anatomical detail possible. Considerable assistance in this regard was provided by Dr. J.D. Stewart, LACM; Dr. John Maisey, AMNH; Dr. Steve Cumbaa, CMN; and others, during the years of research and discovery.
Offered exclusively by TPI.
